Colin Langedock
Biography:
Colin Langedock has been practicing as a pharmacist since 2010 and has been a pharmacy owner since 2014. Colin currently works as a managing pharmacist partner for Northway Pharmacy.
Colin believes in the importance of high quality cognitive-based and clinical pharmacy services delivered to patients by pharmacists, and the impact of these services leading to positive health outcomes. He is a strong supporter of the continued expansion of pharmacist clinical service scope. He enables pharmacists and pharmacy teams to practice patient-centered care in environments where pharmacists can focus their efforts on clinical activities. Colin is also committed to fostering supportive work environments for pharmacists and pharmacy staff that allow for professional growth and advancement, mentorship opportunities and for team members to evolve in their practice.
Colin is passionate about connecting with and being involved and rooted in the communities he practices in, to understand how they best may be served. He embraces the challenge of working in a rapidly changing pharmacy landscape and molding his practice to meet the evolving needs of patients.
Colin is engaged in many areas of practice with an emphasis on immunization, geriatric care, mental health and support of marginalized and underserved populations. He believes in patient accessibility to high quality and timely pharmacy care, and meeting patients where they are at. This includes access to care through outreach initiatives such as immunization campaigns, among others. He has a keen interest in problem solving, innovation in pharmacy, developing new patient care and education initiatives with equitable access, participating in medication safety centered programs and investing in new technologies such as automation in his workplace. He also believes in a team approach to healthcare and a high level of communication with strong collaborative partnerships between pharmacists, other healthcare providers and other patient supports.
Colin is married to his wonderful wife Chantal and has two children, Haddie and Adrian. He values time with his family and friends and likes to stay active by going to the gym, running and playing golf.
